No Excuses

Tuesdays are my busiest days.  I work all day as a teacher, teach an afterschool club, and then come home for a quick second before I have to rush off again to Whole Foods for the 28 Day Healthy Eating Challenge.  I didn’t sleep well last night and I didn’t make time for exercise.  Yet to me, there are no excuses when it comes to healthy eating.

I often hear people say that they are too busy to eat healthily.  To me, if you claim that you don’t have time to be healthy, then you’re saying that you have time to be sick.  As Hippocrates once said:

It takes no time at all to make some oatmeal, throw some raw veggies or raw fruit in a bag, whip up a smoothie, or sauté some vegetables and make a quick stir-fry.  See how easy and simple it can be?!  🙂

PM Snack

Dinner, which I picked up at Whole Foods right before the Challenge started.

I ate a lot today, but my appetite’s been a little crazy the past few days, so I’m just going with it.

Even though I had basically no time for anything today, I still stuck with my eating plan, no matter what.  I can immediately feel a shift in my body if I don’t eat right or something’s out of sync.  Next time you’re caught in a bind, ask yourself what you can do to stay on track.  Your body will thank you for it.
